Samsung welcomes WindFree Première+
UK – Samsung has introduced its new residential air conditioner, the WindFree Première+.
The 2.5kW and 3.5kW indoor units can deliver both cooling and heating and are available in white and charcoal. The WindFree Première+ is said to offer enhanced airflow via the WindFree™ cooling mode thanks to AI operation for optimised performance and a more efficient micro-holes design.
WindFree™ Cooling is designed to keep the room comfortable by gently dispersing air through the thousands of micro-holes, creating a “Still Air” environment with low air speed and limited noise, while delivering the same performance.
The AI-driven Motion Wind system uses a radar-based motion sensor with Motion Wings to adapt airflow intelligently based on occupancy, while smart controls are designed to support seamless operation. Motion Wings uses three independently operating blades to create a highly efficient air outlet structure. The redesigned assembly enlarges the air inlet by 10% and boosts discharge speed by 15%.
A 4-in-1 filter is an upgrade of the original Tri-Care Filter, which features three layers including a high-density filter that captures large household dust particles, fibres and animal hair, as well as a zeolite-coated layer that captures fine dust and allergens and helps reduce certain types of viruses and bacteria. The 4-in-1 version adds PM2.5 particle capture, improving its ability to reduce fine dust.
