Mark Burton returns to CTC as Go Geothermal Sales & Strategy Director

UK – Go Geothermal, which holds the UK rights to Swedish heat pump manufacturer CTC, has appointed former Dimplex Head of Renewables Mark Burton as Sales & Strategy Director, marking his return to the CTC brand after more than a decade.

Burton previously worked with CTC between 2013 and 2015, supporting ground source heat pump projects and system specification. He will now be based at Go Geothermal’s Retford office as the business targets larger commercial and housing projects.

Broad heat pump experience

Burton subsequently spent around a decade at Vaillant, working across new build, retrofit and social housing, latterly as National Partnership Manager, before moving to Dimplex to lead its renewables team.

His work at Dimplex included commercial heat pumps and ambient-loop heat network systems.

There’s a genuine opportunity to build something significant in the commercial and housing space

Focus on larger projects

Go Geothermal co-founder Tim Williams said Burton’s experience across new build, retrofit and heat networks would support the company’s push into larger commercial and housing contracts.
