DAB adds EVOSTA 3 circulator pump

UK – DAB Pumps says the latest generation of its EVOSTA circulator pump combines installer-friendly design with improved efficiency and performance.

While older fixed-speed circulators can continue operating at a set output regardless of what the system actually requires, EVOSTA 3 uses electronic control and a permanent magnet motor to enable the circulator to respond more efficiently to system demand, helping avoid unnecessary energy consumption.

DAB recognises that efficiency needs to come without additional complexity for installers. and says EVOSTA 3’s user interface provides straightforward access to settings and operating information, helping make commissioning quick and intuitive. A compact design makes it suitable for installations where available space is restricted, while attention has also been paid to simplifying electrical connection and set-up.

An automatic degassing function provides another useful feature during commissioning. Air in a heating system can cause noise and compromise circulation, particularly after maintenance or when a system has been drained and refilled. The dedicated function helps remove air from the circulator, giving installers another practical tool for getting the system running correctly before leaving site.
