The Belfry hosts Clivet Ryder Cup
UK – The fourth Clivet Golf Day once again followed a Ryder Cup theme with Blue pitted against Red over 18 challenging holes on the PGA National Course at The Belfry.
A total of 70 installers, consultants and merchants battled it out for the Clivet trophy, again won by the Blue (Europe) team, and a first prize of a £250 golf break voucher.
Charles McArthur was the individual winner, while Dave Weaver won the Longest Drive prize and Tim Leonard was Closest to the Pin.
Lost wedges, misplaced phones and more lost balls than the pro shop could ever hope to replace were never in danger of spoiling a day of excellent golf, filled with plenty of memorable moments.
