Daikin launches Madoka Plus controller in the UK

UK – Daikin has launched its Madoka Plus wired touchscreen controller in the UK for use with Sky Air, VRV and ventilation systems. Orders opened on 8 July, with dispatches due to begin during the week commencing 27 July.

Designed for hotels, offices, shops and other commercial buildings, the 86 × 86 mm controller provides access to temperature, operating mode, fan speed and airflow settings through a colour touchscreen. It is available in black or white and received a Good Design Award in 2025.

Sensor-based control

Daikin says an optional range of wireless temperature and humidity, CO₂, motion, door and window sensors will become available later in 2026.

Used with the Madoka Assistant app, the sensors can support automated actions including adjusting temperature according to occupancy, switching systems off when windows are open, activating dry mode during periods of high humidity and controlling ventilation in response to CO₂ levels.

Installer functions

Madoka Plus includes access to operating parameters, error information, notification history and installer settings to support commissioning, servicing and fault diagnosis.
