VTS adds HOMER heat recovery ventilation
Poland – VTS Group is expanding its product portfolio with HOMER, a compact heat recovery unit designed for residential ventilation systems. It combines heat recovery, optional humidity recovery, integrated automation, Wi-Fi connectivity and flexible installation options.
Developed for applications where continuous air exchange, heat recovery, compact installation and simple operation are required, HOMER supplies fresh, filtered outdoor air to the building and removes extract air from indoor spaces, while transferring energy between the two air streams through a heat exchanger.
It is intended for systems where stable air exchange, indoor air quality and energy efficiency must be considered together. The unit can be used in new buildings as well as in modernisation projects, depending on available installation space and ductwork layout.
The range includes HRV and ERV versions with nominal airflow capacities suitable for residential applications. The available models include 350, 450 and 600 versions, with corresponding maximum airflows of 350, 450 and 600 m³/h.

Heat recovery and humidity recovery options
HOMER is available with two types of heat exchangers:
- Counterflow heat exchanger: designed for high heat recovery efficiency. According to the technical data, the heat recovery efficiency reaches up to 90%, depending on the model.
- Enthalpy heat exchanger: recovers both heat and moisture. It can be useful in applications where maintaining a more stable indoor humidity level is important, especially during periods when indoor air may become too dry. The availability of both exchanger types allows the unit to be selected according to project requirements, indoor comfort expectations and operating conditions.

Installation and service access
HOMER can be installed in two configurations:
- Wall-mounted installation using a dedicated mounting rail
- Floor installation using a specially designed base
Both options are intended to provide stable positioning and convenient service access. The wall-mounted version can be useful where floor space is limited, while the floor base provides an alternative when wall installation is not preferred or not possible.
