HVAC community tees up support for the NeuroMuscular Centre
UK – The HVAC sector has helped raise £10,500 for the NeuroMuscular Centre, the Winsford-based charity where Chris Beech of Cool Designs Limited receives treatment, through a charity golf day at High Legh Park Golf Club.
The event brought together 12 teams and exceeded last year’s total of £7,000. Funds raised will support NMC’s specialist services for people living with neuromuscular conditions, including physiotherapy and exercise in a purpose-built neuromuscular gym. The charity says it needs to raise £1.4 million each year to sustain its services.
Support from the HVAC and air conditioning sector was reflected through Cool Designs Limited, TQ Environmental and Toshiba, which were among those backing the event through teams and hole sponsorship.
Chris Beech of Cool Designs Limited said: “It is a pleasure to support the NeuroMuscular Centre, which provides physiotherapy, care and ongoing support for me and many other people across the UK living with neuromuscular conditions.
“I have been humbled by the support shown by the HVAC industry and would like to say a big thank you to Cool Designs Limited, TQ Environmental, and Toshiba for entering teams, and team members who provided further support by sponsoring holes.
“Thank you all so much for your support, and we hope to see you all again at the NMC golf day in 2027.”
