BEWI joins EHPA to strengthen heat pump links

Belgium – Packaging, components and insulation solutions specialist BEWI has joined the European Heat Pump Association as it seeks to strengthen its position in the HVAC sector.

As a supplier of technical components of EPS (expanded polystyrene) and EPP (expanded polypropylene) for HVAC solutions, BEWI says it already works closely with heat pump manufacturers.

Martin Seidel, Strategic Key Account Manager HVAC Europe at BEWI, said: “The adoption of heat pumps is accelerating, driven by the energy transition and decarbonisation targets for the building sector. This creates opportunities for innovation, as well as higher expectations for performance and resource efficiency. Collaboration and knowledge sharing across the value chain are therefore essential.”

The EHPA works to promote heat pump technology as a key contributor to Europe’s energy transition. Headquartered in Brussels, it brings together manufacturers, suppliers, research organisations and policymakers to support the development of efficient heating and cooling solutions.
