Hitachi unveils line-up for Mostra
Italy – Hitachi Cooling & Heating will return to Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) later this month. The event takes place at Fiera Milano from March 24-27 and the Hitachi brand reappears at MCE following its integration into the Bosch Home Comfort Group last summer.
Visitors can find Hitachi in Hall 5, booth K22–G29, where the brand will present its latest HVAC solutions and innovations for residential and commercial applications.
David Bioche, Product Management Director at Bosch Home Comfort Group for the Hitachi Cooling & Heating brand, said: “As the industry keeps moving toward natural and low-GWP refrigerants and prepares for the next phase of the F-Gas regulations, we’re proud to showcase our HVAC solutions and share our vision for the future. At the fair, we’ll unveil several new product innovations, all fully aligned with this shift in the market. For us, taking part in MCE is a great opportunity to show how we’re evolving our product portfolio to keep up with changing trends and meet our customers’ needs.”
Upgraded airHome range for residential
The residential offering will focus on the upgraded airHome range of air-to-air heat pumps, designed for both homes and light commercial spaces.
The line-up includes wall mounted units (airHome 200, airHome 400, airHome 600 and airHome 800), console units (airHome Floor), and ducted systems (airHome Ducted Slim). These solutions deliver efficient heating and cooling while integrating advanced air-treatment technologies such as Mold Guard, FrostWash and AQtiv-Ion to support healthier indoor air. With built-in Wi-Fi connectivity1, users can manage their airHome unit remotely via airCloud Go app for enhanced comfort, convenience and energy optimisation. Complementing the range is airHome Triple C, a 3-in-1 multi-split thermodynamic water heater using R32 refrigerant. It connects an external AC unit with a Hitachi indoor DHW tank and up to four single indoor fan coils, providing a complete solution for space heating, cooling and domestic hot water in a single, comprehensive home-comfort solution.

Expanded low-GWP heating portfolio designed for future ready performance
Hitachi will showcase an expanded heating portfolio designed to meet the needs of both individual homes and multi-family buildings. The line-up features the airH2O 600 split system using R32, as well as the airH2O 800 series in hydraulic split and monobloc versions operating on low-GWP R290. A new model dedicated to multi-dwelling applications, the airH2O 400 M R2902 (monobloc/20-40kW), will also be introduced.
With the industry moving towards refrigerants below 150 GWP from 2027, Hitachi Cooling & Heating will present airH2O 5003, a split air-to-water heat pump running on low-GWP R454C. This compact, high‑efficiency model will be available with or without an integrated stainless‑steel domestic hot‑water tank, and its hybrid design makes it suitable for both new‑build and renovation projects.
Completing the portfolio is airH2O 4000 Max4, a high-capacity R32 air-cooled heat pump (65 & 140kW) designed for residential, commercial, healthcare, restaurant and multi applications. Across the entire range, all units incorporate built-in safety features and plug-and‑play functionality to simplify installation and commissioning.
New R32 advanced VRF systems
For commercial applications, Hitachi will introduce its new generation of top-flow VRF systems operating on low-GWP R32 refrigerant: air365 Max (Pro) R325 (5 – 52HP) and air365 Mini Lite R326 (4-12HP). The manufacturer says the systems offer a wide capacity range, high performance and a significantly reduced carbon footprint.
