Navigator expands renewables offer with Thorsys collection

UK – Bedford-based heating and plumbing distributor Navigator has introduced Thorsys, a new renewables accessories collection for heat pump and low-carbon heating installations.

The collection includes filters, pumps, hoses, clips, valves, inlets, filling loops, air vents, buffer tanks, isolation switches, pressfit connections, rubber mounts, brackets, floor stands, heat pump cages, and cable and pipe trunking. Navigator said the range is intended to give installers access to many of the components needed for renewable heating projects through one supplier.

Navigator is also developing heat pump accessory packs for a manufacturer. The packs are intended to provide installers with the equipment needed alongside the heat pump itself, helping to simplify ordering and installation preparation.

Range supports heat pump installations

Thorsys has been developed for heat pump and modern heating installations, covering system protection, hydraulic accessories, mounting solutions, electrical isolation, pipework support and external unit protection.

Navigator said the products are designed to support ease of installation, reliable system performance and availability through the merchant channel.

The company said the move reflects growing demand for renewable heating accessories as more installers become involved in heat pump projects.
