APHC opens nominations for 2026 Quality Plumber Week Awards
UK – The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors (APHC) has opened nominations for its 2026 Quality Plumber Week Awards, with sustainability and technology categories recognising energy-efficient installations, smart heating and remote monitoring.
Nominations are open until 20 September, with plumbers and heating engineers able to nominate themselves, colleagues or other industry professionals. Customers can also put forward installers for recognition.
Sustainability and technology recognised
Seven awards are available, including Sustainable Installer of the Year, Commitment to Training, APHC Installer of the Year and Embracing Technology.
The sustainability category recognises work that reduces energy consumption and environmental impact, while entrants can provide evidence of energy savings and carbon reductions achieved for customers.
The Embracing Technology category covers the adoption of new tools and systems within plumbing and heating, including smart heating, remote monitoring and energy-efficient solutions.
Other categories include Caring for the Community, Rising Star and Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Champion.
Winners announced during Quality Plumber Week
APHC says each award carries a prize worth at least £250, with winners due to be announced during Quality Plumber Week, which runs from 5 to 11 October 2026.
The annual campaign, organised by APHC in partnership with Installer, aims to recognise workmanship, professional development and innovation across the plumbing and heating sector.
